There are photo ops and then there are Mad Monster photo ops!
For the last decade the folks over at Mad Monster have literally been pulling out all the stops to create the most uniquely fang-tastic experiences for fans, taking photo ops to the next level. Instead of stepping in front of a curtain or a step-and-repeat, they allow fans to step into the worlds of their favorite movies, tv shows, games and even record album covers! These immersive images make for the perfect commemorative keepsake for guests at Mad Monster shows and now they are joining us in Philadelphia for our upcoming 65th anniversary celebration, Famous Monsters Fest!
Mad Monster pioneered costume photo ops and were the FIRST to get Kane Hodder in his iconic Jason make-up (by original FX artist and director John Buechler), the ONLY show to get Gunnar Hansen to reprise his role as Leatherface for a photo op, the ONLY show to get Doug Bradley as Pinhead in a fully immersive set, the FIRST to get Bill Moseley as Chop Top, the first to get David Howard Thornton as Art with makeup by creator Damien Leone and SO many more!
To celebrate the 35th Anniversary of “Friday the 13th: New Blood” and the tenth anniversary of Kane Hodder’s very first in-costume photo op at Mad Monster, we have a special treat for you. Using elements from the original molds by makeup artist John Carl Buechler, masterfully recreated by Tom Devlin and Justin Mabry of Trick or Treat Studios, Kane Hodder will once again don the iconic hockey mask at the Famous Monsters Festival. Prepare to be choked by Jason in this extraordinary photo op that will undoubtedly become a cherished centerpiece on any horror fan’s wall.
But act fast, these exclusive photo ops are extremely limited, and tickets are selling out quickly…
